Rapan Natural Mineral Salt
100% natural mineral-rich mud salt from an ancient Siberian salt lake. Exceeds antioxidant level of Dead Sea salt up to 5 times.
Unique therapeutic and beauty product.
Rapan Natural Salt is part of the Rapan range of products harvested from an ancient Siberian
lake.In Russia it is successfully used in spas, resorts and naturopathy clinics to treat various skin
conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, acne and many other health
problems. It is also widely used and in the beauty
industry and for home treatments - to aid relaxation, stress
relief, improve skin condition, help with muscle and joint aches and
pains and to improve general health. Rapan salt makes an
excellent bath soak. It can be used in compresses to
relieve aches and pains, help to heal skin lesions, infections, etc. It
makes an excellent gargle and mouthwash in cases of tonsillitis and
gyngivitis, and can be used as a face wash for acne. For body scrubs, it needs to be crushed, since
the crystals are coarse. It can be crushed easily though.
Dead Sea salt is its closest relative of Rapan salt - their chemical composition and therapeutic effect is very
similar. The scientific research conducted in Russia has shown that Rapan salt contains up to 5 times more fat-soluble
antioxidants (carotenoids, retinoids) than Dead Sea salts. The method used was the spectral analysis. More information about
this research can be found in the e-book "Rapan - Beauty through Healing" on this website.
Rapan salt contains such chemical elements and substances as Na, K, Mg, Ca, N,
carbonate, hydrocarbonate, sulphate, chloride, bromide, phenols,
microelements (P, As, Zn, Sn, Cu, Ni, Pb, Ag), silica acid, vitamins,
hormones, biostimulators, amino acids, fatty acids, polysaccharides, peptides,
etc.). It also contains most elements of the Periodic Table.
Rapan salt crystallises in the lake, and the crystals can be of different sizes. The salt also contains what is called 'crystallohydrate'
- the product of the binding of water by inorganic substances in the cold conditions of Siberia. The water in this 'bound' state plays
a very important role as far as therapeutic properties of the salt are concerned, and here is why:
- Acts as a moisturiser for skin cells.
- Stimulates skin cell growth and regeneration.
- Promotes regeneration of skin collagen.
- The water in the crystals is 'living' water, since it forms the basis of life of the peptides in the salt.
- The therapeutic properties of peptides in Rapan result in pain relief, stimulation of antioxidant and adaptogenic regulatory systems, and general cell regeneration (anti-ageing properties).
-
Increases blood circulation and lymph drainage.
- Contains high level of vitamins, minerals, hormones, antibiotics, analgesics, organic acids and
biostimulators.Provides supply of essential minerals, vitamins and anti-oxidants through the skin due to its well-known ability to absorb substances.
- Anti-inflammatory action: used to treat strong eczema, psoriasis,
arthritis, muscular problems, acne, other inflammatory conditions.
- Detoxifying effect: draws impurities out of the body.
- Boosts the immune system.
- Speeds up body metabolism.
- Increased removal of toxic waste and reduction in the cellulite appearance
- Removes excessive water from the body reducing puffiness
- Promotes weight loss due to the effects listed above.
- Boosts energy levels.
- Reduces fatigue.
- Relaxes the body and mind.
- Increases the sense of well-being.
- Improves skin appearance and texture bringing in colour, smoothness reducing wrinkles and increasing moisture.
- Promotes removal of impurities from the skin, clearing out pores.
